Today, A.H. Beard employs a team of over 400 dedicated and highly skilled people to produce up to 10,000 mattress each week, which are sold in Australia, New Zealand and around the world.
Sarah Richards is a Councillor on Hawkesbury City Council, being elected in 2016.
Sarah has a long history of community service, having been in Rotary for over a decade, and serving on multiple boards and charities across her local area.
Sarah studied at the University of Western Sydney, graduating with law and journalism degrees and practised as a solicitor before focusing on her many roles as an advocate for the community.
Melissa McIntosh is the Federal Member for Lindsay and is passionate about representing her community.
Before politics, Melissa worked in the community housing sector, ran a think tank program at the US Studies Centre focusing on workforce participation and was an adviser in the Howard Government, as well as a former Chief of Staff. She also ran her own small business.
Melissa has always called Western Sydney home and is a proud alumni of Western Sydney University with a BA in Communications.
Jo Bromilow is an Accountant based in the lower Blue Mountains and has run her own small business, Champ Enterprises for over 20 years.
Jo is the President of Blaxland Chamber of Commerce, Treasurer of Mountains Combined Chambers and Community and the Blue Mountains Representative on the Forum of Western Sydney Airport .

"Mattress for a Mate" is a Community Based Initiative to assist those in need as a result of the 2019/2020 NSW Bushfires.
Mattresses will only be provided to those who can adequately prove they lost their homes and are in need of new mattresses for their day to day living.
Supply and delivery of mattresses will be at the discretion of the Organisers only. Supply is limited.
Delivery will be to lower NSW North Coast, NSW South Coast, Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains areas only.
The "Mattress for a Mate" Initiative may be cancelled at anytime subject to demand and community need.
